Why “Build-Ready” Claims Are Misleading
Before any home can be approved for construction, a number of important steps must take place. These are essential to ensure the drawings comply with your site, local council, and Australian building standards.
A genuine build-ready set of drawings must include:

Site-specific information — such as topography, services, retaining walls, floor levels, fences, driveways and paths drawn to Australian standards.

Council and state compliance — every council and estate covenant has its own requirements. It’s common for councils to issue Requests for Information (RFIs) that require design adjustments.

Environmental and zoning considerations — modifications are often required for sites within cyclone, bushfire, flood, or acoustic zones.
If these factors aren’t accounted for, your so-called “ready-to-build” plans will be rejected — costing you time and money.
